【摘要】:Thistestmethodisapplicabletothedeterminationoftraceamountsofaldehydesandketonesinaqueoussolutionsandawidevarietyoforganicsolvents.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotalcarbonylintherangefrom0.5to50gcalculatedasCO.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtobegeneralanddoesnotincludestepsforsamplepreparation.1.3Acetalsthathydrolyzeundertheconditionsofthetestarealsodetermined.1.4Carbonylderivativessuchasacetalsandiminesthatareeasilyhydrolyzedmaybedeterminedbyanalternativeprocedure.1.5Thedevelopedcolorisnotstableandmustbemeasuredwithinaspecifiedperiod.Note1OthertestmethodsforthedeterminationoftracesofcarbonylcompoundsaregiveninTestMethodsD1089,D1612,D2119,andD2191.1.6ReviewthecurrentappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheets(MSDS)fordetailedinformationconcerningtoxicity,firstaidprocedures,andsafetyprecautions.1.7ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsstatementsaregiveninNote4andSection8.
