【摘要】:Aswithotherhazardousmaterialsprotectiveensembles,air-fedprotectiveensemblesincludeclothingandequipmentitemsneededfordermalandrespiratoryprotection,includingprotectivesuits,gloves,footwear,andeye/faceprotection.Unlikeotherprotectiveensembles,air-fedprotectiveensemblesdonotuseseparaterespiratoryprotectivedevicessuchasself-containedbreathingapparatus(SCBA)ornon-poweredair-purifyingrespirators(APR''s).Thosetypesofrespiratorsnormallyhaveatightfittingfacepiecethatprovidesinhalationhazardprotectionanddermalexposureprotectiontotheface,eyes,nose,andmouth.Air-fedprotectiveensemblesarewornwithouttheuseofaseparaterespirator.Theentiresuitservesastherespiratoryprotectivedeviceandalsoprovidesdermalexposureprotection.Thewearerbreathessuppliedairorfilteredairpumpedintotheprotectivesuit.Air-fedprotectiveensemblesareusedtoprotectworkersinanumberofapplications.Theseinclude,butarenotlimitedto:chemicalandpharmaceuticalmanufacturing,remediationofhazardousmaterialssites,useagainsthighlyinfectiousbiologicalagentsinBioSafetyLevel4laboratories,andforprotectionofworkersinvolvedinnuclearfacilities,whereitispossibleradioactiveparticleswillbeencountered.TherequirementsofthisspecificationhavebeenpartlybasedontheNFPA1991Standard,whichestablishescriteriaforvapor-protectiveensemblesusedinhazardousmaterialsemergencies.NFPA1991establishesrequirementsforaprotectiveensemblethatencapsulatesthewearerandthebreathingapparatus.Inthisspecification,abreathingapparatusisnotworninsidethesuit,butinsteadbreathingairisconnectedtothesuiteitherviaanexternalairlineorrespiratoryprotectiveequipmentthatisexternallyconnectedtothesuitwall.Extensivecriteriafortheintegrityoftheoverallensembleareappliedthroughdesignandperformancecriteria.Thisallowsfordifferentconfigurationsofaprotectiveensemblethatincorporatesahoodedvisor,protectivegloves,protectivefootwear,andtherespiratoryprotectiveequipment.Thequalificationoftherespiratoryprotectiveequipmentisaddressedbytheapplicablerequirementsforrespiratorsestablishedin42CFRPart84.Assuch,theentireair-fedensembleissubjecttocertificationbyNIOSHinadditiontomeetingtherequirementsinthisspecification.Thisspecificationestablishesclassificationsfortheprotectiveensemble.Theclassificationsincludeonethatisdeterminedbytheconfigurationoftheprotectiveensembleandonethatconcernstheuseoftheprotectiveensemble.Aprotectiveensemblecanbeclassifiedasax201C;AirlineProtectiveEnsemblex201D;orax201C;PAPR-BasedAir-FedProtectiveEnsemblex201D;.Undereachoftheseclassifications,protectiveensemblescanbefurtherclassifiedasx201C;LimitedUsex201D;andx201C;Multiple-Usex201D;.Theseclassificationsaccountfordifferencesintheconfigurationoftheairsupplyandmaterialstrengthanddurability.Theseclassificationsdonotaccountforthedecontaminationeffectivenessofmultipleuseensembles.Inrecognitionofthepotentialdiverseapplicationstowhichtheprotectiveensemblecanbeused,documentationrequirementsareprovidedformanufacturerstobaseclaimsforpermeationresistanceofensemblematerialsagainstspecificchemicalsorforclaimsofensemblematerialperformanceagainstbloodborne(orliquidborne)pathogens.Similarrequirementsareestablishedfortherespiratoryprotectiveequipment,whenthise......【英文标准名称】:Coldpourresincompoundandheat-shrinkcablejointsinthevoltagerangeupto1000Va.c.and1500Vd.c.Specificationformaterials
